Scope of Work

execution of 60 tons capacity overhead crane maintenance works which include, but not limited to Preparation works, Replacement of Curtain Rail, Replacement of Travelling Device, Replacement of AC Magnetic Brake for Main & Auxiliary Sheave and carry out all mechanical, electrical, control system maintenance works required in the crane which has a capacity of 63 tons in accordance with our Agreement.
  • Preparation Works
    1. Checking & Transporting of Materials
    2. Checking of O/H Crane Brake
    3. Floor Protection by Temporary Steel Plate
    4. Installation of Scaffolding (Crane Girder area )
    5. Setting of Winch for Erection Work and Install Chain block
    6. Fixing of O/H Crane Wheel, Hoist and Sheave
    7. Preparation of Equipment & Tool for Erection Work
    8. Isolation of Electrical Device & Cable Disconnection

 

  • Replacement of Curtain Rail
    1. Removal of Existing Curtain Rail
      1. Removal of Curtain Cable & Hanger
      2. Removal of Curtain Rail & Terminal Box with Support
      3. Removal of Grid Resister
      4. Cleaning of Existing Curtain Rail Support Welding Portion
    2. Installation of New Curtain Rail
      1. Lifting up & Installation of Curtain Rail Support
      2. Lifting up & Installation of Curtain Rail
      3. Lifting up & Installation of Terminal Box, Curtain Cable & Hanger
      4. Lifting up & Installation of Grid Resister.
      5. Cabling & Cable Termination

 

  • Replacement of Travelling Device
    1. Removal of Existing Travelling Device
      1. Removal of Travelling Motor, Reduction Gear & Oil Disc Brake
      2. Removal of Pinion & Shaft
      3. Cleaning of Motor & Reduction Gear Base
      4. Cleaning of Pillow Block Base
    2. Installation of New Travelling Device
      1. Lifting up & Installation of New Pillow Block
      2. Lifting up & Installation of New Pinion & Shaft
      3. Lifting up & On-base of New Motor, Reduction Gear & Oil Disc Brake
      4. Levelling & Alignment of Shaft
      5. Levelling & Alignment of Motor & Reduction Gear
      6. Cabling & Cable Termination

 

  • Replacement of AC Magnetic Brake for Main & Auxiliary Sheave
      1. Removal of Existing AC Magnetic Brake
        1. Removal of AC Magnetic Brake & Control Box
      2. Installation of New AC Magnetic Brake
        1. Lifting up & Installation of New Brake & Control Box
        2. Cabling & Cable Termination

 

  • Commissioning & Test
        1. Movement Test of Curtain Cable
        2. Travelling Device Commissioning & Test
          1. Injection of Oil & Grease for Motor, Reduction Gear & Brake
          2. Motor Test
          3. Final Alignment & Coupling
          4. Travelling Test (No Load)
          5. Adjustment of Braking & Limit Switch

 

  • Cleaning at Site
    1. Removal of Fixing Material for O/H Crane Wheel, Winch & Sheaves
    2. Touch up Painting 5
    3. Cleaning up
